Not waking people up with noise!

Have you ever noticed in this movie, that when the kids are trying not to wake someone up, they adopt the strategy of making lots and lots of noise? When leaving the camp, they're riding horses and whooping and hollering. But no one notices. Wheaties is wearing head phones, but what about the other staff?
When trying to free the buffalo, they don't want to wake the hunters. One boy accidentally blares a radio, which spooks the buffalo. No one wakes up. They seem to further ensure that no one will wake up by taking a truck with a loud engine and crashing it through a gate.
It makes me think of all the times as a kid I tried to sneak around quietly and got nabbed. Geez.
