Changing Clothes

How did the two girls change their clothes all the time if they were chained to each other (ex, when they got into the nuns' habits)? It doesn't really make any sense, does it?

They never did change clothes except into the habits and then after their chain was broken.

Yeah I really didnt care I loved the movie and thought it was great fun. The fact that they changed into nuns habbits is so funny!
