The funniest film of all time

This is not a comedy, yet it is the funniest movie I have ever seen. From classic lines like 'Chester, what's wrong?' and 'My medium... is hair' to the simple fact that every line seems to be improvised, I did not stop laughing for the duration of the film.

This film may be terrible, but it's hilariously terrible.

You're lucky. That's the way I want to feel while watching this movie, but for some reason the "humor" just falls like lead.

Well, we were a little drunk. (And I actually do mean a little. Only a couple beers.)

Honestly, this is a great movie to have some friends over and grab a slab (of beer, duh) and get a bit tipsy and do a MST kind of deal with. It's the best kind of funny: unintentionally funny. Even the bits that are supposed to be funny are unintentionally funny.

My sentiments exactly, my friend. In fact, I just watched the barber shop scene last night. I thought Larry Hagman did a FANTASTIC job with this film. I also thought that Dick Van Patten was hilarious as well, especially with the bangers (did I say that right?).

Well done, Mr. Hagman.

"Clackers"

Those annoying toys so popular in the early 70s...

Even in 1972 at the theater we though this movie was very funny. ☺

This film provides a great deal of giddy'n'goofy tongue-in-cheek fun. It has a very loose and breezy improvisational feel to it that's both amusing and engaging in comparable measure.

Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.

I agree that this film is great. Very well done on a small budget, and although it remains successfully humorous throughout, there is a lot of horrifying stuff going on under the laughs (Can you imagine what it would feel like being stoned out of your mind, and unknowingly geting your head dunked backward into a sinkful of inescapable, corrosive, flesh-eating alien organism? Ugh!)

i found it funny cuz its so bad (imo)

You're gonna die!
You came all this way to tell us the dog exists?

You may be right but the best part about it is if you grew up in the 70s - there are SO MANY THINGS that are pieces of that time period - makes it funnier!

Now Playing: Whatever movie I am commenting on for the time being.

I like the scene where the guy points a crucifix at the blob...and gets eaten! LOL! Or the scene where Robert Walker Jr. accidentally turns on the music at the ice skating ring! Robert Walker Jr. looks a lot like his old man!

The hair cut scene is the most insane sequence ever filmed. So goddamn strange, haha.
