The Sirens of Titan

I have read it many many times, it is great and is perfectly suited to be made into a film.
Most or all of Vonneguts books that were made into films sucked.
Mother Night, Slaughterhouse Five, Breakfast of Champions, Happy Birthday Wanda June.
But Sirens of Titan would be great. There must be some problem with who owns the rights, because this would have been a great film.

I know that Jerry Garcia, of all people, owned the film rights at one point. I think it would make a great film.
