why has the never come out on dvd?

I would reslly like to own it and I mean an official dvd not someone made to sell on ebay.

This movie was never put on DVD, only VHS. I have the movie on DVD-R if interested. Very good quality considering it came off old VHS tapes. Also comes with case and artwork.

I believe it has to do with litigation surrounding the production company, Bing Crosby Productions. Few, if any, of their films are available on modern media.

I'm beginning to think it will unfortunately never happen. 

If they were going to release I think it would've happened by now. Sorry to be such a pessimist but that's just me.
