No other fans of this one?

Such a shame this film has stayed in obscurity. The gialli are starting to get discovered and have growing fan bases. This film really needs some attention. There are way worse films than this that are available, and Barbara Bouchet has quite a cult following. How I wish this would get picked up and released. It's a good one.

Until that day for anyone looking for a copy can find it available at cultaction.com but unfortunately it's a barely passable fullscreen VHS rip. Here's hoping Blue Underground, Shriek Show, or one of those DVD/Bluray companies that specializes in these sleazy, great grindhouse/exploitation flicks will shine some light on this underrated/underseen giallo.

DVD was just released last week by Code Red but no one has a copy yet so we are not sure if it's complete or in decent condition. More to come....

The print looks aged and dirty, but overall it's a pretty nice 2.35:1 widescreen transfer. 85 minutes, English audio, includes the trailer. It does say "this is the USA cut version of the Italian cult classic" right on the box, but it's longer than the 78 minute edited version mentioned on the "alternate versions" heading of this imdb page. The onscreen title is Maniac Mansion.

But it's the best it has ever looked in its original 2.35 widescreen (it helps it's anamorphic!) aspect ratio. All other bootlegs look horrible by comparison. At least until an uncut print shows up, this will definitely do.

Haven't seen this one yet, but I'm a fan of the lovely Barbara Bouchet. 88 Films is a based in the UK, but if you are region free, check this out:

Really great news this is! I wonder if it'll be in widescreen though.
