Do you think AIWL was based on the Hearts card game a little bit?

I love to play Hearts, but so many of my friends complain that its SUCH a confusing game, one reason b/c it has NO trump like most trick-taking games, and it's backwards from most games b/c you want to avoid points. Hearts count as penalty points.

Since everything in Wonderland is backward and it's ruled by the Queen of Hearts *who's always willing to dish out penalties*, I wonder if it was based on the card game somewhat?


Just because we lose today's battle doesn't mean we've lost tommorow's war.
