Was that a group hallucination or was it actually there? I dont see how water levels could rise 50 or 100 or 150 feet and leave a ship in the top of a tree. Must have been a hallucination right?

I don't know how the boat got there, I don't think Herzog had the budget to fly it up there with a helicopter.

Just saw it for the 1st time last night. Amazing movie btw. I believe they just thought it was hallucinations because, hell, how often do you find a boat at the top of a tree lol.
shareI think that the point of the ship in the tree was it's ambiguity of the perception itself. They have stopped trusting their senses.
