Honestly, I don't trust Yaphet Kotto, even though he's Republican -- he's not Allen West or Herman Cain. This guy seems like another one of those race-baiters. All this movie talks about is how police should be more lenient (considering Mazelli does things by the book for the most part) and how they should be more lenient. When Mazelli talks about how liberal the cop is, Kotto says, "Go back to 1940."

Dumb liberals.

This was another liberal movie.

You forget that liberals were still the underdogs in 1973. I'll root for the underdog every time. The problem today is that liberalism IS the establishment. They won their war. Like everyone who wins a revolution, they don't know how to handle power once they have it, so they're pretending they're still the underdog. That's why I can no longer root for them. They're liars.
