Chinese Remake

Just watched the chinese remake of this movie, it is over 300 minutes long.
But I felt it followed all the lines of the 1972 version precisely.
Since my russian is very poor, I was unable to understand the "added episodes"
to the story. Has someone seen this version too ?

How I wish I could find where to order this 300 minute long movie. I wouldn't care if it had English sub titles or not.
