What was the original runtime of this movie?

IMDB website says the runtime is 188 minutes. Ruscico says their DAWN’S HERE ARE QUIET...(A ZORY ZDES TIKHIE) on two DVDs has a runtime of 160 min. It wouldn't surprise me if this movie was edited for DVD, but where can I find the original version, does anyone know more about it?

RUSCICO DVD = 76 + 81 mn

If it was edited for DVD I'm willing to bet one of the deleted scenes is where Pauline goes in to see Maria so she can rat out Brichkina

There are three version of the movie: a short version for dvd (77 + 81 min), a long version (93 + 84 min) and a full version (95 + 86 min). I haven't seen the full version yet but there can be only a few scenes that missing from the long.

Thank you for your reply. Where did you find this information and where are the long and full versions available? My 2 disc DVD from Ruscico on the cover says 190 min, but the actual length is 76.5 + 81 min.

I found a 179 min version on the internet with HD. Unfortunately it does not have English subtitles.

I am still trying to figure out what scenes are missing from the RUSCICO DVDs compared to this version.

Thank you for asking this question! I came here to ask it myself and was so pleased to find that others had already asked and answered it.
