So I know this is an italian film with italian actors but was the dialogue originally in english or was it dubbed over? Because when I was watching it it looked like they were speaking english, but a little off....like they were actually mouthing english and then recorded the speaking separately..... what's the deal?
shareThey were speaking englisch and italian at the same time, a mix of it.
shareAlot of movies in the 1960´s and 1970´s was filmed with no sound, and the sound effects and dialog audio was added later. Sergio Leone films were all filmed this way.
shareAnd in this case some of the actors knew only spanish, so it was shot in three languages actually.
