Why not Adult Swim?

I'm glad to hear it's on Boomarang (even though I don't GET Boomerang), but it seems to me that Adult Swim could have been a good place for it also. In the first place, at different times it's been full (TOO full, really) of parodies of Hanna-Barbera shows, geared towards adults. So why not rerun an ACTUAL Hanna-Barbera show, geared towards adults? Adult Swim has certainly had worse ideas - a while back, they showed reruns of Saved By The Bell, a LIVE ACTION show that's considered BAD, with an insult type caption at the bottom (move over, MST3K!). And of course, they showed Pee Wee's Playhouse, which I've always liked a lot, but which, arguably, didn't especially BELONG on that network. And as for the cheap animation on Wait Til Your Father Gets Home, whenever I think of it, I immediately think of names like "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," "Tom Goes To The Mayor" and yes, "South Park." The only difference is that, on those shows, the clumsy animation is DELIBERATE, but how important a difference is that?

I think they only showed Saved By the Bell temporarily till either new seasons of their shows got in or new series started unless they're still showing it, are they?

It was only temporary, but it was such a "one-joke" idea! Spread out over weeks!

The problem with showing this on Adult Swim is that too many AS viewers were born after 1993 and have absolutely no idea what this was about.

"C'mon Bart! The Coast Guard's covering the Doobs!"

exactly.
i think they regulate much older cartoons, regardless of content, to boomerang, hence the name.

You'd think, though, that there would be some "guest appearance" by these characters, on one of those shows I mentioned, like "Harvey Birdman." I know Wait Til Your Father Gets Home is a fairly obscure Hanna-Barbera show (except to people like the ones on these boards), but Adult Swim has made ENTIRE SERIES out of Hanna-Barbera shows that are MORE obscure! So you'd think one of these Adult Swim people (who can't seem to get ENOUGH mileage out of HB) would get around to this show, in one way or another.
