The Sequal movie aka the Conclcusion

How would we like it if I wrote the Sequal movie? I would conclude the entire show. For Harry,Alice and Jamie a happy ending. For Irma, Chet and Ralph the shaft.
I know what you are thinking! Why the shaft for Irma? She is in denial over Chet's laziness. That is reason for the shaft.
Actually Chet is a multimillionaire in the end. But he has no wife, no real child and not half enough accomplishments.
Harry is dying. He asks his family to come together to say good-bye. we learn:
Harry has been happier these past fifteen years then he ever was before.
Irma has never been at peace with the fact that only one of her children [Chet] was ever married. She has only one grandchild. She has not seen half as much of him as she would of liked.
Chet looks back on his life realizes he has accomplished little. He managed another rock band and now he has 1.5 million dollars since his divorce. He has not been half the father that his son needs.
Alice has been great artist. With Jamie's help she has become o good investor. She is retired.
Jamie took over his father's business and quadrupled it. He has many outside investment. He is considering retiring with 20 million dollars.
Ralph is dead. He is died pathetically a few months after the Cold War ended.
The forgoing is the beginning and middle of the show and not the end.

I am hoping to find a new audience to this.

I also wanted to see a reunion movie (or special) done, but the ship has sailed on that one. Tom Bosley has died (long after you first created this threa), so Harry Boyle wouldn't be there. And if you're thinking of them recasting that role, it would be possible, but it wouldn't have the same feeling. And as for your idea of the Ralph character being dead, I wouldn't care to see it even if Bosley was in it. Ralph wasn't the main character of the show, but he was my favorite character of the show. The only reason I'm responding to your thread at this point is because I just now saw it, plus earlier this month, you posted the following: "I am hoping to find a new audience to this."

I felt that way about several characters in my career as a TV viewer. But without the Cold War what did Ralph have to fantasize about?

Well, for one thing, Ralph was a "Grade A" racist. He also had some crazy ideas about a lot of different things.

But he was evil. Evil is always self destructive in the end.

What does that have to do with the Cold War being needed for Ralph's character? He's why the show was funny.

There is no reason he could not have seen to please you twenty-four hours before his death. But I doubt anyone in the neighborhood would be willing to listen!

I don't know what that means.

Then allow me to rephrase: Rlaph could have flashback to make you happy. It could take place twenty four hours before his death. But I doubt anyone in the neighborhood in the WTYFGH will listen to his lunacy.

Let us try this again!
