Have been enjoying watching the episodes on youtube and MeTV, Mike has a nice watch which is featured often, at one point he ribbed his partner for having a cheap watch which didn't survive a dunk in the harbor.

There is a good look at it here at about 30:57, looks like tape has been put over the logo for legal/'non-paid advertising' purposes, but seems to be a 60s Omega Seamaster

Anybody have any info on it? I figure it was Karl Malden's personal watch...

Just watched the 5th season episode "The Drop" and noticed his watch and I agree it looks to be a 60's/70's Omega Seamaster! Must be Karl's personal watch because it would be too expensive for a cop, even at a Lieutenants pay grade.
