Will Smith is just a couple of years shy of the age Redd Foxx was when the show started. Since he started with a comedy tv show, maybe he could return to remake a classic...

I don't wanna be rude but even though Will Smith might be close to the actual age of Redd Foxx, he still ACTS and LOOKS WAY YOUNGER to me.

Will might be better as Rallo~sp~ or even Lamont.

Honestly it would never work, the very thing that made Sanford and Son what it was couldn't be done on TV today.

Part of the reason Sanford, and the Redd Foxx show didn't work was that the humor had to be cleaned up
