Midway through the Clock Game, Drew asked the production guy if they could add some time because he felt like he had messed the contestant up, so they added 6 seconds. And she won with only one second to spare! Super cool of Drew to do that, because without those extra 6 seconds, she would have lost.
THIS is why I'm a fan of Drew on the show.
Sure, but he really could have -- and I think should have -- stopped the game immediately when he messed up. I remember Bob doing that many times when the contestant was the one who wasn't listening to him saying "higher/lower" and getting them to regroup themselves.
But Drew did it this time, twice, and just kept going. Sometimes I think he's the one who doesn't pay attention to the game.
I thought six seconds was a little too generous. It only took them a second or two to get back on track each time they messed up.
