Rumors are that MAUDE will be released sometime in 2006 along with Archie Bunker's Place on DVD. Go to TVShowsonDVD.com and lookup news for MAUDE to find out more. Hope this helps.

I hope Maude will be release on DVD in 2006. Does anyone know for the release date for Maude to be available on DVD? It's been a while that they had Maude on Nick at Nite and TVLand.

I'd like to know about this too! I got part, but not all, of the episodes on Comcast On-Demand, recorded to DVD. I'm treating them like GOLD for now you can bet. I recorded them just because I paid so much money for the overpriced cable service I had in 2 months in NH, which were among the worst of my life - then I just filed them away until last fall. I pulled them out one day and started watching - oh my GOD is it fantastic. I've taken them to parties, etc. It's a superb show - Goddess Bea Arthur could never be overrated, but I didn't realize the quality of the supporting cast either.

I just hope that they actually follow through and release it. You can't tell me there aren't people who'd buy it, given its popularity in the 70's.

According to the previews on the new Hazel DVD release (August 1, 2006), Maude is coming to DVD. No date but they are releasing Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman too!

I rented season 6 of 'good times' and on it was some previews of classic tv shows on DVD..and MAUDE was one of them...so I would guess it is coming out very soon.

Formerly Sasquatch Attack needed new email and ID because of problem with IP

TV Shows On DVD just announced today that the first season of Maude will be released on DVD March 20th for $29.95

I am so pleased this show is coming to DVD.

Bea Arthur is genius and the bits I have seen of this show are hilarious.

It also reminds us of how powerful television can be in tackling important social topics and more importantly to remind us all that in an era of rampant conservatism there are beacons of liberalism out there.

But, regarding Maude, it is oen of the two most underrated great shows from the Seventies. Can you guess the other one?

The sheer brilliance of Beatrice Arthur still makes these old episodes of MAUDE hilarious!

Other shows didn't age too well (like HAPPY DAYS, I DREAM OF JEANNIE), but MAUDE still works. I watched the first disc of Season 1 and laughed out loud repeatedly. Wow! Sheer genius!

On December 2, 2014 it was announced that Shout! Factory had acquired the rights to "Maude" and will release the complete series on DVD on March 17, 2015.
