Question about the laugh tracks on HULU

So I have just been re-watching a bunch of episodes lately and I have my favorites that still make me laugh like "Tuttle" and "The Abduction of Margaret Houlihan". Now, we all know that the series got far more serious as time went on. However, some of the episodes on Hulu (streaming) have the laugh track removed when my memory tells me they were there on TV re-runs. For example, "The Bus" on Hulu, there is no laugh track when I watch it but I feel like it was there before. On the DVD sets that I bought years ago, you can actually remove them from the menu selection. Curious if anyone else experienced this.

From what I remember of watching the show on reruns on regular TV, the laugh track was always included. When I got the DVDs, I always watched without the laugh track because I learned that was the original intention of the producers. And it's so much better without the canned laughter.
I guess that doesn't answer your question about Hulu, though.

It was a long time ago but I seem to remember when first played on UK TV there was no canned laughter - which was exceptional at the time.

The DVD releases of the seasons had a feature where you could elect to watch either with or without the laugh track. Maybe Hulu just uses the episode audio without the canned laughter? I haven't an idea where I would get that info for sure.
