'April Fools' Storyline (Series 4, episode 15)

Does anyone know what the April Fools storyline is? I've googled the episode number & name but I can't find any information. I would be grateful if anyone could help.

Thank you

I've got the dvds of series 1-6 inclusive and I've been watching them again recently. The only mention of April Fools day so far is the episode where Bill buys a new car, a Triumph Herald convertible and so Eddie under pressure from Joan goes out and buys an old banger to try and keep up.
When Eddie shows off the banger to Joan she says something along the lines of it must be April Fools day.
The episode concludes with a mix up over the cars, Eddie sells his but Bill's car gets collected instead by the dealer who turns out to be a car breaker.
They race to the scrapyard to try and save Bill's car but of course both cars end up getting crushed and presented to Eddie and Bill as two big cubes of crushed metal!
I'll keep watching but this has been the only reference to April Fools that I've heard so far.
Hope that helps.

This APRIL FOOLS episode is one of the two episodes strangely missing from the dvds isn't it, I rang up the shows writer years ago and asked why they were missing and he confirmed they weren't onnthe dvds but hadn't a clue why.

The often quoted missing 'April Fool' episode does not actually exist. During the 1974 run of the show it was postponed one week which led to it running longer than intended and receiving billing in the TV Times for more weeks than it should. Teething Problems was delayed so the Bananas episode scheduled to be broadcast on February 25 was not actually broadcast until April 1 where the TV Times added an April Fool reference to the description that appeared for the earlier screening. So the April Fools episode is actually Bananas which is included in the DVD set. The Coach Trip was due to be aired with series 6, but due to unknown reasons was not broadcast. It later appeared as part of series 7, with the new title The Coach Outing to Bournemouth
