David Carradine is a pervet.

And he died like a bitch. Auto erotic asphyxiation? lawlz. Talk about disgracing not only yourself but your entire family.

Ive ALWAYS despised this series because of how it came to fruition, being a STOLEN idea from the great Bruce Lee, and not even given a "credit" really pissed me off. The racists behind it who refused an Asian Star in an ASIAN ROLE IN A *beep* ASIAN TV SERIES CALLED "KUNG FU." AN ASIAN, specifically Chinese martial art form. Its beyond me how any sane person would accept this other than being UNACCEPTABLE.

And to all the fanboy idiots who argue the role of caine is supposed to be half white half Chinese....guess what? Bruce Lee himself had GERMAN blood flowing through his veins, he IS by definition a true Eurasian.

*beep* this show, *beep* the producers, and *beep* david "the guy who hanged himself to death while beating of in Thailand" carradine.

There's no proof that Kung Fu was Lee's idea, only speculation and opinions... Kung Fu was a good show and Carradine played the part well.. Bruce Lee might have been one of the best at Martial Arts but he couldn't act and he would have sucked at playing a humble and meek Shaolin priest and with is accent, we'd never have understood his lines... The TV series Kung Fu wouldn't have lasted a full season with Lee as Caine.. As for Carradine being a "pervert".. As long as his partners were consenting adults, who cares, that's his business and has nothing to do with his acting career.. If people are supposed to be tolerant to the lifestyle of gays, I guess it's time to leave everyone alone, as to sexual preferences..

Give it a break!

David Carradine lived a man's life and died a man's death!

I couldn't care less about what he did in his private life. He played the role (in Kung Fu)wonderfully and we could really use shows like this today!

Is "pervet" pronounced "pervay"? Anyway, the OP sounds like someone who didn't get the message of the show anyway.

I also liked David Carradine in Death Race 2000.

No, a pervet is a wanna-be veterinarian.

The original poster is one of the ones in the series opener who would have been asked to "Please leave."

OP you are a bigotted ill informed d-b-.
What does it matter to anyone how David Carradine got his jollies?
His death was a tragedy, not something to be mocked.
And I don't buy it that he screwed Bruce Lee out of the role of Caine.
It would have been a different show with Lee but that's not what we got.
Dissing on Carradine because of how things turned out 40+ years ago is disrespectful and plain dumb.

The show that Lee supposedly suggested was about a warrior, not a monk. It would have had an entirely different atmosphere. And Bruce Lee, although he is undoubtedly a brilliant martial artist, would have performed in a more aggressive way, not calm and measured like Carradine's performance. I'm sure Lee's apparent idea would have been a very exciting program, but it's not what the producers and creators wanted. This is a different story. Lee's warrior program didn't happen. Learn to get over it and enjoy this one... You're missing out.

At least David kept it in the closet --- where the "shame" in that??

Plus, Lee's elocution was problematic.
