I'm not sure what series it was, I think I saw it performed in two different horror anthology series (same script, or treatment of same material), if we're talking about the same thing...
The episode starts:
There was a wooden rocking horse that is found buried in a box under a concrete slab during either a home demolition or renovation... the new owners hear noises at night, etc... and realize it's the vengeful horse trying to attack them because it had a twin horse that was broken/destroyed back in the past that it is still trying to find. They end up using a mirror to convince the horse that it's twin is back and they bury it in the same box (where they notice a mirror is attached to the inside lid of the box)...
Sound familiar or are you thinking of something else? Long time ago...
I remember the horror movie curator or movie editor that had to burn all the old movie prints so their spirits wouldn't take over his unborn child's soul (his wife was 8 months pregnant or something)... wow, what series was that??
Do you remember an episode of a horror series where the mean old Nana or Grandfather gives a doll house to his mute granddaughter and it has dolls of the whole family and he and she play with the dollhouse... shuting doors (in the doll house) causing doors to slam in the real house and traps people who piss him off in various rooms, etc... terrorizing them. The real house catches fire and the granddaughter grabs all the dolls and runs outside so her family is saved but shuts the door on her evil grandfather's dollhouse room so he can't get out and he burns to death... Creepy!
