What this series needs now...

...is a soundtrack release! Billy Goldenberg was an excellent composer for horror, and some of his best work was done for Ghost Story (1972). It would be great to have it on a CD soundtrack album! 

I agree. As good as the shows are, every time that wonderful suspense music plays, I'm thinking, "Hush-hush, I want to hear more of this!"

Same here, I would love to have the soundtrack, especially during the Halloween greetings.
I think the music belongs to Screen Gems. The music was used on some of the background music on "The Young and the Restless" during the 70's and 80's.

I only recently learned that he was responsible for three of my favorite 70’s TV themes — Circle of Fear, Policewoman, and Harry O. Who is (was) this guy? I’d love to get a CD of his original themes, straight from the master.

It’s not impossible. There’s a raging demand for unreleased original soundtrack music, and passing decades have allowed for several titles to make their way onto CD, sometimes coming from the composer’s personal tapes.

Some examples:

The Omega Man (1971)
The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 (1974)
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud (1975)

None of these had soundtrack albums available in the era of their release — they all came decades later.
