BERNICE.

If ever there was an example of the heart being a lonely hunter, it's Bernice. Well-groomed, well-spoken Bernice. She may be groomed well and crosses her Ts and such but it counts for absolutely nothing when you haven't the presence of mind to balk at the initiatory signs of phony emotional entanglement. Look at the fiasco that led to her being bound half naked to a bed by a robber whose heart she believed she had enraptured.

Or again, Carlos, Ashley, Andy, Larry, Gavin, Anthony - they all did her over in one form or another. Yet still she craves. Her only competitor for Most Pronunciated Villager is perhaps Larry, yet even as runner up she continues to belittle herself by fluttering any man who happens to even glance at her. It strikes me that she is out of place. Not better, but just out of place.

How many more times, before she finally cracks up, is somebody going to disappoint her? And yet, even after one let-down, she seems ready and willing for the next.

Bernice could do with a firm talking to, ideally by herself in the mirror. She needs to quit hunting and become acquainted with the surefire premise that if you don't go looking for it, it will find you - even if 'it' turns out to be not worth not looking for in the first place, as is often unfortunately the case lol.

My problem with Bernice is her selfishness. She puts herself first every single time, she forgets she has two children, she abandons them at the slightest chance of male attention.

If I was an eligible man I would balk at her treatment of her children, if she can show them such disloyalty, what chance some bloke?!

Goodnight, good luck and may your God go with you
