Hi it's me again with another odd question. They mentioned in the quiz show episode that Roy's moms name was Harriet. (Although Chief said her name was mom, ha ha.) Okay so does anyone know what Roy's dad's first name is? Thanks for any information on this.
Ironically, as far as I know, all the names of family members on this show are in Roy's family: wife (Joanne), one child (Chris), and mother (Harriet). Not only are none of Roy's other family members named (or even mentioned), but other than one or two references to Cap's wife, NO OTHER family members are referred to. For anyone at station 51. At least, not that I can recall. Johnny mentions growing up on a "ranch" (I wonder if that was supposed to refer to a reservation?), and I believe at one time he gets a phone call from his "aunt," but other than that.....
(We also meet Dr. Brackett's father in an episode, but curiously, I don't believe that character has a first name.)
Does Stoker mention a wife? Thought I heard that once.

shareNo, no mention of a wife for Stoker, that I know of, anyway. Did Chet make a joke about something like that? I don't recall, off the top of my head. In the Alley Cat episode, Stoker mentions having a lease, which I take to mean he lives in an apartment, and in the Family issue when Roy's complaining about his mother-in-law, Stoker's great advice is to "learn to live with it." (I think some people take that to mean he has a m-i-l, but I don't believe that.)
Ooh, and I just remembered that in How Green Was my Thumb, Stoker is with the other guys falling over the woman (Mrs. Johnson?) who came to the station to give Roy a plant. I doubt he would have done that if he was married.
In the Brushfire episode in the first season, Conroy the injured firefighter (Gary Crosby) made a comment referring to Mike's wife: “He’s a quite good man. I don’t care - what his wife thinks. And you can tell him I said that.”
It could be taken as a joke or not. Also in How Green Was My Thumb Stoker mentions an uncle that makes or has a fertilizer plant.
I swear Stoker did mention a wife early on but can't name the episode.

shareI seem to remember Marco mentioning an aunt Rosita in an episode. (I think it was "On Camera" but I am not sure). At the end of "How Green Was My Thumb" all the guys started naming various relatives ("My so-and-so does this-and-that"), but of course they may have been just trying to impress the lady, lol.

shareJust a mention of Roy's family. He did have 2 kids--son Chris and a daughter whose name was not mentioned. This is in the 6th season when Roy is trying to figure out where to go on vacation. Johnny says a trip to a farm for the family and when Roy returns from vacation he mentions all the things that went wrong on the trip and his daughter got the measles.
