Which episodes do you recommend?

I've just started watching Emergency recently and have only watched season 1 all the way through. Since it's leaving Netflix on January 1st I guess I need to speed up my watching lol, so what's some episodes you recommend watching? 😀

Thanks for the list! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it through all the seasons before it's removed. 😢

StrawberryBlonde's list is impressive  but in the interest of time, I'd narrow it down to:

Decision (Problem)
Frequency
Trainee
Smoke-Eater
Promotion
Fools

I'm sure I missed a few,but these spring to mind. They're what i call "issues episodes," in which one or both of the paramedics face Big Issues. Most relate to their job as paramedics, but a couple (Promotion, Frequency, Decision) are more personal.

Season 3 has some great stuff, especially "Snakebite" and "Inferno" (both already listed). I'll give a cautious-to-reluctant mention to "Peace Pipe" (Season 2) -- some cringe-worthy ethnic "humor", but the episode does include the classic girdle incident. (On second thought, just watch the "Geatest Rescues" compilation movie -- the girdle thing's in there, too.)

The girdle incident is a hoot. The drunk driving storyline is okay, though I don't quite get why the mom would ever leave her second child in a car after what happened to the first one. I'd think she'd be far too paranoid about it.

The race stuff was pretty ugly and sure hasn't aged well. Yeah, Johnny fought back and got the last word, but I can't imagine they'd get away with that at all now. That was pretty over the top even for the early seventies.

Didn't somebody say on here that Randolph Mantooth asked the writers not to do that again? Can't say as I blame him at all.

Awesome! I hope you enjoyed them. It was hard to pick favorites, I like most of the episodes.

All of them! But don't expect much from season the last season. It is a handful of tv movies, and IIRC only the 1st one has some of the Rampart characters in it. None of them have the rest of the 51 crew. In addition, Johnny and Roy aren't the main characters in most of them.

Yeah, I read about those movies on this board and I actually saw a little of one of them right before MeTV quit airing Emergency. It was the one where they were at this paramedic convention, not sure which one that was. I would only pay attention to what was going on when Roy or Johnny were on-screen, which wasn't a lot, so I wasn't sure what exactly was going on. I just really didn't care about any of the other people and wondered why the focus was mostly on them. Like, I'm watching this for the characters I know, not some random new people. 😓
