I think the lighting is bad in this scene. For one thing, it picks up the beginnings of Kevin's early greys.

I want to know how those pieces of the plane ended up landing parallel to each other. And why did the explosions begin at the place marked X?

* Sadly, according to imdb, Firefighter Howe died in the line of duty in the early '90s.  Regarding his turnout, I'm guessing maybe there weren't any policies on how the name could be displayed on the back?

That's it! 👍 Looks odd, doesn't it? Makes me wonder if it's optional to have the spanner on the "other" side--sort of like "right-handed" and "left-handed" turnouts. I can't see that it would make much of a difference though, one way or the other. Except maybe expense.

Those are great slackersmom. I especially love the first one of Pretty Johnny. Yummy! He did look mighty fine in this movie. And Roy looked good too as long as he took off that stupid cap.

And those last pictures of them in the barn. I posted in the other thread how Johnny's nose was red and he looked cold but Roy did not. You can really see that in your pics.

I couldn't stop looking at that collar turned up. Don't know why exactly, but it was distracting, in a good way of course!

Love the plane crash pic! You're right, very action-y!

Unfortunately, METV cut the badge shining scene and the scene were he asked Roy to call him Cap.I watched the beginning on METV and then switched to the DVDs (mostly because there are other people in my house that I have to work around). Enough said.

I think you're right, slackersmom, about the "choked up" pic of Randy. I think there was a lot of real emotion in that scene. Randy said in one of his interviews that this is one of his favorite scenes with Kevin. He said even though they both knew they didn't want to do the series anymore, they knew they were basically out of a job and that was scary. Even though Randy had a few things lined up at that time, and maybe Kevin did too I'm not sure, they were very uncertain of their future in the long run at that time. Luckily for them, they both turned out fine. Randy said in a recent interview that about 1% of actors actually make a living at being an actor. I think both he and Kevin have done that so that makes them both successful!

They are handsome captains!

Those were great slackersmom and way more entertaining than the actual movie.

Love the scenes at breakfast when Roy is explaining the movie. Seriously, Randy has great facial expression.

I was laughing at the "does this look professional" picture of Laurie. I really didn't like her character or her look. I liked Gail just fine. Too bad she was married to such a doofus.

The two newspaper articles, I think the text is different, right? Again, don't think they realized the technology we would have nowadays and would still be watching and scrutinizing this show. But we love it!!!! (except the movies of course).

Yah, that Novato fire station was pretty cool looking I thought.

About the newspaper articles... I assume it's supposed to be the same newspaper (same headline, same paragraphs, same other article headline nearby, etc. And yet, one has pictures of the two paramedics and the other doesn't. Can't figure out how or why that happened, but it's kind of a big oversight, I'd say. 

Thanks for bumping. Yeah, I'd hate to lose these threads. I believe we lost a couple of long, in-depth threads before we realized they 'fall off' after a certain amount of time.  
