DVD release in the UK!


Cousin Bette is to be released on DVD in the UK on July 10, 2006. It can be ordered @ Amazon.UK but will be a Region 2 disk. Your DVD player must be multi-regional to play the DVD.

I am French and Cousin Bette has always been my Balzac's favorite;
I'd like to know how is the DVD and whatpeople think of that version which is apparently faultless...

I've been eagerly waiting for Region 1 news on this release. The DVD isn't even listed on Amazon.co.uk anymore, so I don't know what's going on with it at this point...

I borrowed disk one and watched it from Netflix. They will send disk two in a couple of days after I return this one. I watched the version previously with Barbara Hershey as Cousin Bette and it was quite different.

I have rented both discs from Blockbuster. I live in the USA, and I don't know since when they were having it. I had read a recommandation of this story, and I am glad I followed it.
