If you like Colditz check out Enemy At The Door

It's one of the best TV series I've ever watched.

It's about the German occupation of Guernsey during the Second World War. There are some Colditz similarities to be found. There's a firm but good Kommandant, islanders trying to escape and resist and a sadistic SS officer who insists on tough punishment for even the most minor things.


Great acting and stories. Well worth a watch for Colditz fans.
