Did mad magazine ever parody this show?

I know they did The Mary Tyler Moore show as "The Mary Taylor Made Show" and Newhart as "Not so new heart". Phyliss as "Foolish", Rhoda as "Rhodent", and "Lou Grant as "Lou Grouch". I was just curious as to if they ever got around to our favorite Chicago Head Doctor.

I'l dig through my collection of Mad Magazines on disc that my friend gave me. As far as Lou Grant, I believe that it was called Lou Grunt. I'll double check on that.

I stand corrected. According to Wikipedia, Lou Grant was called Lou Grouch, and they do not list The Bob Newhart show as being parodied.

Odd too--it would have seemed like an obvious choice for them. I remember 'Gall in the Family', and virtually all of the Norman Lear shows got parodied; I think TBNS might have been the only one of the MTM stable of sitcoms that didn't get the MAD treatment.

Lou Grunt is even funnier than Lou Grouch

I just flipped through my Mad About The Seventies book, and in The Mary Tailor-Made Show, and Mary calls her boss Mr. Grunt. That must be why I thought that Ed Asner's show was called Lou Grunt.
