"A 3-ton, 10-foot marble sculpture vanishes before its unveiling."

don't you have anything to say about Candy Clark in this one?

And Carlie had some great air time too.

reply

I'd been up for about 50 hours, so I felt like it was more important to get the episode posted before mentioning it was a "Carlie" episode.

As far as Candy goes, a director of Blue Thunder could have had it easy: "Remember how you played Gretchen? Do that.

I'm eccentric (okay, a lot), but I'd go nuts around those (Candy's) two characters.

Carlie episodes are always good ... that goes without saying ... smart women are always hot.

I'm going to look for Blue Thunder,

Great scene, maybe one the greatest of all Banacek scenes, in this episode right?
You know, when Carlie comes in and Candy leaves....
The famous kiss.

Blue Thunder is a excellent movie. The last 20 minutes will have you on the edge of your seat. Plus Malcolm MacDowell is at his swarmy, unctious best. Candy Clark has some great guest star appearances on Magnum.

BOO-YEAH!

E, I think there is only 1 episode that I think was poorly conceived, that was the last episode and probably for me the reason is that is the only one I ever figured out. The one about the magician w/ guest stars Pat Harrington, Peter Marshall and Gretchen Corbett. I have totally forgotten the title of the episode.
I agree smart and strong women are really hot. Confidence is sexy. Christine Belford got this "it"quality about her I can't explain.

BOO-YEAH!

The one crime which was poorly conceived (to me) was, "The Greatest Collection Of Them All" (acting quality notwithstanding). Once you've seen that, then Max is a piece of cake.

One of the things which I've been following (although I haven't necessarily employed) is serious distraction. The show "Brain Games" on National Geographic channel spent one episode focusing upon distraction. There was one where some activity was underway and they'd ask, "how many of you saw the rabbit (man in a suit) in the background?", and cover that. I did a rewind to see it for myself, and sure enough, there was a rabbit practically dancing in the background as it moved across the screen.
