I've confirmed this using several sources.

Banacek's last time on Cozi will be tomorrow night (4/28) featuring Max.

Two 2-hour episodes of McCloud will air from 8-10pm, and 10-12m on 5/5.

Replacing Knight Rider for Banacek is like replacing Battlefield Earth for The Godfather. Replacing a velvet painting of Elvis for the Mona Lisa. Like replacing polka music for Beatles' music. Replacing hambuger helper for filet mignon. Replacing Ryan Leaf for Peyton Manning. Well you get my drift.

I must confess, I kind of enjoyed the Knight Rider remake--mainly for the hot Korean girl, but hey, that's a legit reason.

But this was truly eloquent, man. This cosmic injustice has brought out the poet in you.

I've been watching the scheduling for 5/5. It's two, 2-hour episodes of McCloud. If you look at the calendar, it would seem appropriate to end a series at the end of a month (hence 4/28 with Max).

Perhaps one of the other retro-TV networks will pick him up - even air the pilot?
