Did ALL the mysteries boil down to... *SPOILERS*

Did all the Banacek mysteries of whatever was missing/stolen boil down to:
a) it was never missing, just hidden in plain sight somehow (the missing computer episode and the football player episode)
b) it was never there to begin with (the missing millions episode and the prototype engine episode)

Did any episode fall outside those two rules?

There is a 3rd rule: They were all inside jobs.

I have a few which are true thefts from outsiders.

I tried to come up with a list of things which were missing from TOS and as has been mentioned here before, international, such as Columbo in the UK, is one of them.

I need to dredge them up and actually finish some of them.

Unfortunately, I have a software product I'm working on which, if I do things correctly, would fetch more money and notoriety. I figure I can always offload the Banacek ideas to someone else.

Unfortunately, it did seem like they used the same gimmics in the majority of the episodes. The one with the missing computer and the one with the missing football player are my two faves.

Also, in virtually every episode it is impossible for the audience to guess how it was done, because of gimmicks. Who could guess a big black dog was really a guy in a diver's suit? Or that an incorrect sling was in a statue's hand? Or that it was a hologram? And on and on.
