Is there anybody who has taped this series on VHS?

Um, in 1972, households did not have VCR's.

The pilot episode has been released on the recent 2-disc 'Anniversary Edition' of THE KING AND I, with bonus audio commentary by Samantha Eggar. Currently it's only out in the UK with plans for an Australian release in April. Presumably it'll soon be out in America too.

The new DVD edition of "The King and I" is going to be released on November 7th, 2006. On the second disc will be the pilot episode of the TV Series "Anna and the King".
