How come Vicky turned into a completely different character, Jenny, in the series?

in answer to your question Vicky went away to school after series one and her younger sister Jenny arrived in series two after a spell away at school she does mention it in a member of the family when she is about to go for a ride on Black Beauty. I hope this answers your question. it was also mentioned in the horse magazine lucky rider back in 1973..
