Funniest Moments in the Movie

My favorites are

1) When the old guy is trying to get Jackie into the bag of snakes and stuff, and then it cuts off right in the middle of it
1) The little dance the landlord does after he wins the dominos game
2) When the old guy is beating up the landlord, then says "I got my mojo going!!!"
3) When the master neighs like a horse after taking his "horse stance"

"15 cents, big tippa!" (Little kid snags tip)
(in reference to the fat guy) "Looks like a big fat tub of lard!"
"That's a VERY dangerous area!"
When the old monk pops out in the forest and says he must mend Jackie's hand.
"It's time for my Popeye special!"

This movie is a riot. Makes great background noise at LAN parties.

When Jackie dropkicks the bad guy, and then all of a sudden he is rolling on the floor of his boss's lair.

'Thats for getting beaten up again!'

I'm gonna have to watch this again. Only seen it once and I can't remember a lot of it. Good film though.

When the gang members have to confess to their boss that they have been repeatedly beaten up by a mere WAITER!!! ('But he's pretty tough')

The fact that the town has a crazy homeless man who offers free Kung Fu lessons--and is actually very good.

After Jackie has trained under this guy for a while, he starts getting into trouble. The Master actually pops up from the nearby bushes and serves as a narrator. Something like 'Now he has enemies. This might be interesting. Let's see what happens.'

When Jackie's dad finds a broken board and says 'So...you're studying the martial arts.' in a very judgmental tone of voice, as if he had caught him with drugs.

The head bad guy arguing with his men in their headquarters. They are wearing heavy masks even though no one is around but their own guys and speaking in very muffled voices because of the masks. 'But sir, mmmmh ... mmm... mmmm ..ugh...mph.'

The whole movie was very entertaining. There is a certain kind of old Hong Kong martial arts film that can be completely absurd while at the same time making Kung Fu look awesome, and this is an example.

Thanks. I'm glad someone else had fun with it, too. It's sad that Jackie Chan is ashamed of some of his silly yet delightful early work. He was the Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin of the martial arts.
