It's just a movie calm down!! Lol

reply

Great. More PC nonsense.

This is why kids are allowed to act like out-of-control entitled brats these days. Because of bleeding heart do-gooders like you.

This post just goes to show how stupid liberals can be, getting mad at a 45 year old fantasy movie! 

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

^^^ yes

Hey now I am a proud liberal and I felt those brats in the movie had it coming!! If Veruca was my daughter she would have been shipped off to a convent years ago. But then again I would have NEVER let her act that way from the get go.

its just one long child abuse commercial. A child never deserves physical abuse. I am convinced this movie sparked a wave of child abuse across the country. I started getting abused and my friends that lived in the neighborhood were being abused. This is also when Michael Jackson suffered his worst abuse from his father. Joe would strip him naked, cover his body with baby oil, then beat him with an extension cord. Michael said the pain was so bad he peed on himself. He was only 11 years old :(

Lay off the meth, ok?

reply

Wow. That's sad. Truly a disturbed individual. I am glad, however, that he was such a moving artist all his life. At least something good came from his persona on stage.

reply

Apparently many of Michael Jackson’s most iconic dance moves were him recreating how he would dodge various projectiles being thrown at him by his drunk father.

Tee-Hee!

50-year-old

reply

Well that's just silly, I think you...oh wait a minute, your opinion doesn't matter. Moving on now.

reply

If you don't like this movie why are you here?

reply

Ur a moron lol movie does not scream child abuse. Its a kids movie relax

reply

Those bad kids got exactly what they deserved. I like to think that they learned a valuable lesson from that experience. Would have been nice if we could have found out some way but I guess they chose to leave it up to our imagination.

reply

Frankly, that's what I like about it. Im still kinda disheartened that they didn't show Mike TV in the taffy puller. I'm sure that would have been a real thrill.

reply

Most of Roald Dahl's story include some type of child abuse. Look at Matilda and James and the Giant Peach.

Yes it is!
