Los Angeles and the Willard house

Amazing that in LA of all places, the Willard house still stands when so many other historic structures have met the wrecking ball. The attitude of Ernest Borgnines character really drives me nuts, because their are people that really would plow a bulldozer through the house to erect a soulless apartment building or parking lot. Sad!
