Wild Rovers is one of the best western's of the 1970's and William Holden gives one of his best performances. Anyone hear anything of a DVD release?

shareIn the 90's MGM//UA spent a good deal of money on the special edition Laserdisc version of this movie. It ended up not selling too well and I'm thinking that maybe they don't want to get burned again.
I own that version and it's great- great transfer (even better than the TCM print), extras, good letterboxing, etc) but there's one fatal flaw- the cover art. Many people see that cover (Ryan O Neil riding William Holden) and then get the wrong idea of what the movie is about. They either think it's a comedy or a fore-runner to "Brokeback Mountain". This was thought to have hurt the initial box-office run (again, many people saw the poster and thought "Hmm, The Return of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid") and still they used it for the Home Video release (?)...
