Shelley Winters, not one of my favorites.

She always plays hags in everything I've seen her in. I suppose it has to do with the fact that she was an unglamorous, overweight woman, and the powers that be in Hollywood didn't know what to do with her. This movie was really creepy, and with her in it, made it even more so.

There's a note in the Trivia section on imdb about this film (no source given): "According to Judy Cornwell's memoirs, Shelley Winters discovered that Cornwell received good reviews in Wuthering Heights (1970) and demanded Cornwell's role was cut to the bone."

If true, another reason to hate this blustering, loud-mouthed pig.
