i have looked for a movie off and on for a while
all i can remember is there is a woman who keeps receiving phone calls from a man in a whispery voice. he finally catches up with her and i think takes her to a field and cuts her hair. i think the woman has dark hair and there is a staircase in the house where she is at. i saw the movie in the early to mid 80s. it is not "when a stranger calls" any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry- no. I'm not sure what movie that was, but this is about a boy named Michael that died/missing some time before and now people that were involved in his life before that occured have tragic accidents.

When Michael Calls is really a great (and IMO under-rated film). It has such an aerie feel to the film... and Michael Douglas is as always great. I had a tape of this film and lost it in a move a few years back and have kicked myself for it ever since! LOL
