What's the name of the song that plays while Hanna Shygula is dancing and the guy comes in and punches the director after he slaps the woman? I think it's ray charles but I don't know the name.

shareMy 12th Fassbinder film and the first one I didn't like (sort of) but I did love this particular scene. Hanna is dancing the whole time, the music is groovin' the whole time and this dramatic fight scene occurs in the foreground. When the fight is over, the energy of the scene is shifted to Hanna and the music, in the background now is the fool that just got smacked.
Nice little transition, helped by the music and that cute short dress that Hanna is wearing.
The way I see it, is that we weren't retreating, we were just attacking in a new direction.
Agreed! I didn't care for the movie as a whole but this scene was so amazing and I fell in love with that song! The scene could be a short film in itself!
