sister in splendor in the grass

Yeah, I know it's listed here so I should've checked but I watched this movie wondering WHY do I know that voice & that face so well?!! (yeah, no surprise, have seen SITG many times over), and no surprise that was also a Elia Kazan film.
She did a wonderful job in '61 in that & I thought very nicely in this role too (depressing & dismaying as BOTH roles happened to be).

Unfortunate to read she didn't die in the state of a happy marriage (as detailed here in her biography part) & what a shame at such a VERY young age. Tragic (like the roles I've seen her in).
