not a single display of spedometer?

this is most preposterous that a film about super-car-high-speed-chase-drama does not show the sight of the speedometer of the champion car even once to suggest how fast it was traveling? and yet its all about muscle-car speed?

Since when has that ever been a rule for muscle-car movies?

Speedometers are BS and anyone who believes them (as far as top speed is concerned) is a moron. No, your 2013 Hyundai with the 160mph speedo WON'T DO 160!

I had an 1988 Mustang 5.0 back in high school (class of 92) and it only had an 85 mph speedo in it but would go much faster than that. I loved trouncing the guys in Iroc Camaros, Formula and Trans Am Firebirds who'd see the speedo and "thought" their tune-port 305's and 350's had a chance because their speedo went up to 150.

Again, speedometers don't mean $h!t.

When the speedometer in my Toyota reads 55, 65, 75, 85, etc., I am actually doing 50, 60, 70, 80, etc. I have verified this with radar and GPS. Speedos are almost never accurate.

Shots of the speedometer are boring and cliched
