It is set to be released on DVD in the UK .
amazon.co.uk give a streetdate of June 1st, but Play.com say it is out on the 18th of the same month. Seems like it may be coming out to coincide witht the opening of Tarantino's 'Grindhouse: Death Proof' (even though he doesn't mention it in the movie.

Alot of Monte's stuff is hard to get on DVD, I'm glad their re-releasing this one! I want a real DVD release of "China 9" too... the one I got from amazon is only 93 min or something... and the quality is *beep*

I also want a dvd release for these 70's gems: "The Outfit", "The Friends of Eddie Coyle", "Slither", "Monte Walsh" and "Rolling Thunder"!!

Looking at a number of sites it looks like this release has an incorrect aspect ratio ; 1.78:1 rather than 2.35:1

no, those sites are wrong.
its 2.35:1, and it looks good, though its only a DVD5.
