Parks and Rec reference?

Parks and Recreation is a sit-com that, while great, has little to do with El Topo. But wait (oooo)! Season 4, episode 14, Operation Ann. A Valentine's Day couples dance is DJ'd by Chris, the overenthusiastic character played by Rob Lowe. He was, in the previous episode, dumped. His choice of music is not ideal, mainly consisting of Tibetan throat singers. ABout 10 minutes in, the music sounds suspiciously like El Topo's strange soundtrack. Another character asks Chris: "Can we change the music? It kind of sounds like the soundtrack at the end of a movie where a monk killed himself." El Topo totally ends like that. Not literally, but the self immolation is clearly a reference to the Buddhist monks Vietnam protests . Chris responds: "It is." I don't know if it is the same music in the episode but it sure sounds like it. So yeah. Parks and Rec= coolest show ever.
