Much better than the Holy Mountain

I pretty much watched both of them back to back this weekend. Of course not in the same day. Being my brain would explode. But El Topo is much better. Im not saying that the Holy Mountain was bad. But it was far out there. To far out there to wrap my brain around. I liked El Topo for the scenery, the music and the weirdness. Plus its a western but no your average bear of a western. Its like John Ford, Sergio Leone, with a mix of Mexico desert, a castration scene, some blotter acid and alot alot of blood. By far the most violent surreal Westerns ever man.

i like the settings more in holy mountain - it has more diverse scenery than plain desert
