Just watched on Streaming Netflix as this was an old favorite of mine,
The first thread here (imdb) I clicked was the long one about the ending (good thread, BTW) but from that I saw a few people talking about a scene in the grocery store that wasn't included in the one I just watched. I went to the TMBG page at Wikipedia and it says about 9 minutes on the Netflix version are shaved.
A pity...but a great film nonetheless.
Here's hoping someone finds an original print and does a Blu Ray.
The deleted grocery store scene was on the Netflix version a few months ago. I'm rewatching it right now and was startled to see it was no longer in this version. I thought I was losing my mind at first.

Maybe there is an issue about someone or something that was in that scene and that they can now not legally show or would have to pay a high rights fee.
Makes you want to put Sherlock on the case.
