there must be so many crummy transfers of this film about, and having seen quite a number of them the UK HKL DVD has a magnificent restored transfer.. couldn't believe how much it was cleaned up, it looks good as new! it has a very interesting commentary too! cantonese soundtrack (although not original) kicks over the english dub

You haven't seen anything until you've seen the new version released as part of Bruce Lee collecion by Intercontinental Video. It's a Hong Kong release and is Region 3. The quality is WAY better than HKL... yes, even better than HKL. Also, when comparing the two, the HKL version is cropped compared to the IVL edition. Here's a link to the collection:

And "Way of the Dragon" also looks its best. There's a rumor that these discs will hit Region 1 eventually... right now, the only one that made it from Region 3 to Region 1 was their edition of "Game of Death II"

What is the HK dvd box set like? I have been thinking of buying it even though I own the HKL dvds. I have heard that theres an extra disc with extras.
