The f_ck song

The scenes at the audition were nice, as was the rest of the movie. But that song about f_cking what the hippie girl was singing, the song that sounded like an ancient ballad. Oh, boy! How on earth did the censorship allow such a song? In 1971, the word f_ck was still rarely used in mainstream cinema. I find it hard to believe that the song was not cut out, when the movie was first shown in 1971.
